Medical Correspondence Courses Go Internet

Enrollment in medical correspondence courses can now be done on the Internet at website: atrrs.army.mil.  A course catalog is provided in the upper right corner to review course available and prerequisites of same.  Medical correspondence courses are easily found under school code 555.

Copy the exact number and title of course desired, then return to the ATRRS homepage to submit application.  Scroll down the right side under Channels for SELF DEVELOPMENT.  Click on it for the application form and follow on screen instructions.  If the application is submitted correctly, the soldier will receive an email message that materials will be mailed within two weeks.  This message is from ATRRS, not from the AMEDD Center and School.  A soldier who is enrolled in a medical course will receive a notice of enrollment from Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Applications submitted through ATRRS (Army Training Requirements and Resources System) build a soldier's Army academic record as the correspondence course will be filed there:  completions and non-completions.

NOTE:  Request for enrollment in an individual sub-course such as 081-MD0006 cannot be honored if the sub-course is a part of the course in which a soldier is also enrolled, such as 081-91B10.
