Army Enlisted Leader Development Network

Shortly, SMA Tilley plans on sending out important information over these
networks, however, before he does, he wanted me to remind all of us of this network purpose and correct usage.

ELDN is a three tier information system that was implemented to support NCO Action Plan #17, "CSM/SGM Leader Development Forum", chartered in 1997.  All SGM/CSMs should be on ARMY-ELDN (Level 3), currently we have 690, I need your help to pass the following link
http://confs.itcenter.org/listprocedu/index.cfm?client=ARMY-LEADER-XXI
to any SGM/CSM you know who is not currently a member.

This listserve is intended to allow all Sergeants Majors to provide input into our Army's Leader Development system, while at the same time permit the sharing of valuable data, documents, and solutions that support our Army's customs, tradition, and courtesies.  Lastly, it provides direct questions to the SME's for Army doctrine, policies, and procedures.

Level Two ELDN is reserved for the Nominative CSMs, this listserv permits for closed hold instructions between the SMA and our higher level CSMs. This level was designed to allow clear guidance pass between Division & Separate level of Command and above.

Level One is reserved for our highest CSM positions to discussed and solve strategic level procedures, policies, and problems.

Regardless of which level you are using, it is important to remember a few
basic ELDN Protocol rules in order to keep the traffic at a minimum and to
permit your issue to be heard and answered:

1).  Whenever not responding to the original message, generate a new msg by using this email
mailto:ARMY-ELDN@itcenter.org  and identify a new subject, e.g. Stripes

2).  When acknowledging an old friend, copy his or her address then paste it to the, ``TO Field`` of a new message, so it only goes to him or her only.

3) A quick response showing support to someone`s comment also should be a new message at
mailto:ARMY-ELDN@itcenter.org with the same subject specified.

4)  All message traffic sent (to include attachments) are archived under
each ELDN Level and can be reviewed at anytime by referring to this site
http://confs.itcenter.org/listprocedu/index.cfm?client=ARMY-LEADER-XXI
You will need your password, if forgotten, just email me at
mailto:lambm2@leavenworth.army.mil

Thanks for your effort as we provide the CORPS with the expertise for
solving today's problems.  Remember if this service overload your daily
email, simply delete and at your convenience go to to the Archive section.
